This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit gettingrealwithhilary.com (the “Site”), sign up for our newsletter, create an account, enroll in a course, buy a product or book a coaching session, and how we use and protect that information.

Information you give us:

• Your name, email address, subject and message when you use our contact form or email us.
• Your name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or free offerings.
• Account details such as your name, username, email address, password and optional profile photo when you register as a student or instructor.
• Billing details such as your name, billing address, email and phone number when you buy a course, book or other product. Card and payment details are entered directly with our payment processors and are not stored on our servers.
• Information you share when booking a coaching call, such as your name, email and preferred time.

Information collected automatically: When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Course activity: If you enroll in a course, we record your enrollment, lesson progress, quiz results and certificates so the course works properly for you.

• To provide, run and improve the Site, our courses, coaching and shows.
• To create and manage your account and give you access to courses you enroll in.
• To process orders and payments, and to send receipts and order updates.

• To schedule and manage coaching calls.

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember items in your cart, keep the Site fast and secure, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site, such as logging in, checkout and courses, may not work properly without them.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do their work:

• Payment processors such as PayPal and WooPayments (powered by Stripe) to process payments securely.
• Email marketing through Constant Contact to send our newsletter.
• Scheduling through Calendly to book coaching calls.
• Website hosting and related technical services that store and deliver the Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

5. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

The Site includes links to and embedded content from other services, such as YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook. Those services may collect data about you under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We are not responsible for their practices.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as keeping your account and course access active, or as long as required for tax, accounting and legal reasons. Order records may be kept for several years for these reasons.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Update your account details from your dashboard at any time.
• Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
